Cibolabs Total Standing Dry Matter and Forage Utilisation Record Updates 📱🌱

Stacey avatar
Shared by Stacey • March 28, 2024

We've added more detailed insights and new records for pasture availability, powered by the Cibolabs integration.

Please note, these changes are mainly applicable for those in Australia who have the Cibolabs Integration connected via the AgriWebb Marketplace. Click here to connect or learn more.

What's Changed?

  • CIbolabs integration will now populate 'Total Standing Dry Matter' instead of 'Feed on Offer'.
  • A brand new pasture 'Utilisation' record that includes the ability to set a wastage percentage.
  • The existing ‘Minimum FOO’ record is now called the ‘Target Residual’ record.
  • A new section of insights on the 'Grazing' tab for paddocks.

How it Works?

Watch a video walkthrough or read the help article here.

For those who have the Cibolabs integration connected:

  • The Cibolabs data will populate the ‘Total Standing Dry Matter’, ‘Accuracy’ and ‘Date of Last Update’ fields.
  • You are able to input data for pasture ‘Utilisation’, ‘Wastage’, ‘Growth Rate’ and ‘Target Residual.'
  • AgriWebb now calculates the ‘Feed on Offer’ and ‘Available Feed on Offer’ based on the above inputs. Note that you can still enter a Feed on Offer (FOO) record, however the most recent data point from Cibolabs will override the manual entry.
  • AgriWebb will use the ‘Available Feed on Offer’ value for the 'Grazing Days Remaining' calculation.

For those who do not have the Cibolabs integration connected:

  • You are able to enter Feed on Offer, Growth Rate and Target Residual (formerly Minimum FOO), via records as normal.
  • The 'Grazing Days Remaining' calculation behaves as normal.
  • The pasture ‘Utilisation’ record will not be available.

For more information on pasture utilisation and insights in AgriWebb, please read on here.

How to access this update?

  1. Update your app to the latest version.

🏷 Individual tagging improvements

New tag types are available when tagging your individual livestock! Track more accurately, tagging procedures on farm, such as adding group tags for your herd or flock, and importing DNA IDs and breed society IDs.

Read more on Individual tagging updates here.

🏋️‍♂️ Labels on weights

IAM customers will now be able to add a label to the weight record or live session when recording a weight so they can better track key weight events like birth weights, weaning weights, induction weights and more. All weights will default to 'check weight' if no label is selected within the record.

💧 New Gallagher integration

Connect your Gallagher Satellite Liquid Monitoring system via the AgriWebb Marketplace.

This can monitor a range of liquid assets such as water, fertiliser and diesel. This integration is available across all regions.

🏛 Government Registrations on the mobile app (UK)

You no longer have to leave your submissions to the evening when you're back in from the paddock, simply submit via Menu > Livestock Movements > Government Registrations on the mobile app.

Update your mobile app to the latest version and login to your government body through the AgriWebb app to try this out.

Tagging individuals - improvements!

Jess avatar
Shared by Jess • March 18, 2024

We've introduced some changes to simplify how you can tag your individuals during a live session, via import or individually.

An outline of these improvements:

  • Add multiple separate tags to better reflect tagging on farm. This simplifies the replace tag process.
  • New tag types including TSU Samples, Breed Society IDs and Herd/Flock tags which can be used for group identification. Please note that some tag types are only available on Performance plans.
  • Dynamic visualisation of tags
  • Bulk remove tags by type.

Process updates:

  • Importer - new animals: If multiple tags are used on your livestock, add these tags separately. This means when you go to replace a tag you can select the specific tag to remove or replace.
  • Import updater - existing animals: Continue mapping to an EID or VID for the existing animals and update these individuals with new tag types if needed.
  • Live session: Update your live session templates to utilise the new tag types as this won't happen automatically.
  • Data migration: To get the most out of these updates, we can transition your current tags across to the new tagging system. If you are interested in this, reach out to our support team (

Update your app to the latest version to access these changes on the mobile app.

📱🚀 Redesign of live session animal information

Stacey avatar
Shared by Stacey • November 28, 2023

We've made improvements to the information that is displayed for an animal during a live session crush or chute side.

Key Changes:

Key information found in the minimised header during a live session:

  • EID and VID both show during a live session (instead of only showing one)
  • Show multiple tag colours (replacing species icon)
  • Increase the number of labels during a live session from 1 (withholding), to 3 (added pregnancy status and off farm status).
  • Show breed, age class and age

Additional animal information that can be extended with the down arrow and will persist during a live session unless minimised:

  • Withholding # of days remaining
  • Date of birth and days on farm
  • Sire and Dam (if recorded on the animal)
  • Last location
  • Enterprise and Management Group (if recorded on the animal)

Things to note:

The pregnancy label and status will also now expire throughout the product after the following timeframes:

  • Cattle preg status expires if there is no birth recorded after 325 days
  • Sheep preg status expires if there is no birth recorded after 195 days

Management Group can now be utilised during a live session, for example producers can add animals into a 'cull' or 'sale' management group prior to a live session and then during a live session can use that information to take an action.

You can watch a quick video here:

*This is available for Individual Animal Management plans only.
